This Frank Lloyd Wright Sprite garden sculpture is an authorized reproduction of the full-sized sculpture that was created for the Midway Gardens in Chicago (1913-14). Midway Gardens was an entertainment complex on Chicago's south side, and an extraordinary achievement for Frank Lloyd Wright, who personally designed and supervised all of its elements, including a series of cast concrete sculptures he called the "Sprites". The Gardens fell victim to financial troubles and was demolished in 1929. This hand cast cement garden sculpture was adapted from the drawings found in the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Archives.
Beautifully cast in stone, this striking garden sculpture will last for years in any climate. Shown here on the matching pedestal.
