A simple plastic diverter can make all the difference in the world. Without one, you must completely remove the lower half of your downspout and you have a very limited space where a rain barrel can be used. The Rain Wizard rain barrel diverter adds flexibility to your rain barrel setup by solving these problems.
The included connector hose allows the user to place their barrel within a wide radius of the downspout, making the best use of landscape location. The diverter also keeps your downspout at its original total length by simply connecting in-line. This way, if the user decides to relocate their barrel, they can simply disconnect the hose, and the downspout doesn't have to be replaced. Best of all, this diverter, when used with a sealed barrel, can handle all overflow and channel it back through the downspout*. Works with all 2x3 inch downspouts.
