The Post Extension Kit system is primarily recommended for arbor installation that will include a connecting fence or gate. It is also ideal for ground conditions that are not level from one side of the arbor to the other. The Post Extension Kit is used in the place of wood for in-ground allowance.

Vinyl Extensions
I bought one set to test out using them to make my 6 foot high vinyl fence higher by attaching privacy lattice work fencing in between the extensions and then setting the extensions on top of the posts that are already in the ground and putting the cap from the fence on top of the extensions. It worked great and looks wonderful and adds 2 foot of fencing on to my 6ft privacy fence. I had great, fast service from Exterior Accents and I am getting ready to buy about 10 more sets of the extensions to do the other 2 sides of my privacy fence. The kit came in perfect condition with everything advertised.
